The second week of the Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League provided another enjoyable evening of competitive action, with teams continuing to develop their form and teamwork as the season gets underway.

The League featured several entertaining matches, with Bourne Lucky recording a strong 12-7 win over Ball Of Fame thanks to a well-rounded team performance. Nets Get Physical also enjoyed a successful evening, overcoming Sling It Sisters 21-13 in a match that showcased plenty of attacking play and determination from both teams.

Elsewhere, Ash & Dash secured a 13-7 victory against Pass Me The Wine, while the closest contest of the night saw The Ash-tonishers narrowly edge out Still Playing 11-10. The match remained competitive throughout and was a great example of the closely fought games taking place across the league.

One of the standout individual performances came from Sarah Walker of Nets Get Physical, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her contribution at both ends of the court played an important role in her team's success and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With teams continuing to settle into the season and several exciting matches already taking place, the Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League is shaping up to be a fantastic competition. We look forward to seeing more great performances, close contests and memorable moments in the weeks ahead.
