Didcot Thursday Week 10 - 14/5/26

The Didcot Thursday Netball League season came to a close with a fantastic final week of matches in the League division, as teams came together to enjoy one last evening of fun, teamwork and great netball. The atmosphere throughout the night was full of energy and encouragement, with every team showing plenty of effort and team spirit on court.

Court Queens and Hoop Troops shared an entertaining and closely contested match, with Court Queens coming away with a 14-10 win. Both teams played with great determination and worked hard from start to finish, producing some excellent passages of play.

Netspresso Martinis also finished the season strongly with a 16-3 result against Enchanted. Their teamwork and consistency shone through once again, with Beverley Ivey delivering another standout performance. Her contributions throughout the season earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player for the final week.

The highest-scoring game of the evening saw Midas Touch take on Ball Slappers, with Midas Touch securing a 17-4 victory. Their positive performances across the season helped them finish top of the League division with 17 points and eight wins overall.

As week 10 draws the season to a close, all teams can be proud of the commitment, sportsmanship and enthusiasm they brought each week. From close contests to memorable moments on court, the League division provided another enjoyable season of netball. Congratulations to Midas Touch for finishing top of the table, and to Beverley Ivey for her excellent performances throughout the season. Everyone now looks forward to returning for another exciting season ahead.
