Didcot Thursday Week 10 - 5/2/26

New Season starts up next week 12th March!

In an exciting culmination to the season, the Didcot Thursday Netball league saw some intense showdowns last night, with the League division witnessing nail-biting matches and thrilling performances. The spectators were on the edge of their seats, their cheers echoing as the teams battled it out on the court.

The match that stole the spotlight was between the Court Queens and Hoop Troops, ending with Hoop Troops winning 11-5. The spectators were awestruck as they demonstrated exceptional teamwork and strategy.

However, the team that emerged triumphant in the division was Ball Slappers. They seized the victory in the League division, amassing a whopping 20 points with ten wins. The team showcased their consistent performance throughout the season, leading them to the top. Their final match against Midas Touch ended with an impressive score of 16-7, leaving no room for doubt about their claim to the championship.

Kelly Cook from Ball Slappers was crowned the Most Valued Player this week, further cementing her team's victorious run. Her outstanding performance throughout the season has been instrumental in securing the division title. Cook's impressive skills, sportsmanship, and integrity on the court embodied the spirit of the game.

Our Player of the Season is Leah Thomas from Court Queens! She has delivered exceptional talent all season in the league and has been essential to the fantastic teamwork within Court Queens. 

As we bid farewell to this season of the Didcot Thursday Netball league this week, the teams left indelible memories on the court. The exhilarating matches, the unyielding spirit, and the celebration of sportsmanship have set the bar high for the next season.
