Didcot Thursday Week 2 - 28/7/26

Week two of the Didcot Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams across the League Division showing great teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship throughout the night.

One of the closest games of the evening saw Ball Slappers take on Enchanted in a lively and well-balanced match. Both teams played with plenty of energy and determination, with Enchanted narrowly coming out on top 11–9. A special mention goes to Brienne Evans from Enchanted, whose excellent all-round performance and positive attitude earned her the title of Player of the Week.

Court Queens also put together a strong team display in their match against Hoop Troops, securing a 15–9 win. Their movement around the court and teamwork helped them maintain a steady performance from start to finish, while Hoop Troops continued to battle hard throughout the game.

In another fixture, Midas Touch faced Netspresso Martinis and delivered a confident performance to earn a 14–5 victory. Both teams showed great commitment on court, with Midas Touch making the most of their chances and working well together across all areas of the game.

With only two weeks played, the Didcot Thursday league is already shaping up to be a fun and engaging season. Every match has highlighted the enthusiasm, skill, and supportive spirit of the teams involved, and there is plenty more exciting netball to look forward to in the coming weeks.
