Play in the Aylesbury Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 12 of the Aylesbury Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Aylesbury Vale Academy, with teams enjoying another evening of competitive and social netball as the season approaches its conclusion.

The opening fixture saw Ball Of Fame take on The A Team in a closely contested match. Both teams worked hard throughout the game, producing some excellent passages of play and remaining evenly matched for much of the contest. Ball Of Fame managed to edge ahead and secure a 9-7 victory, but both teams can take plenty of positives from a competitive performance.

Court Queens faced Pivots in the second game of the evening. Court Queens produced a strong all-round display, moving the ball effectively through the court and making the most of their scoring opportunities. Pivots continued to battle throughout and showed plenty of determination, but Court Queens claimed a 12-6 win.

BucksBaddies and Girls On Fire met in another entertaining fixture. Both sides competed well and created a number of chances, but BucksBaddies were able to maintain their advantage and record a 10-5 victory. The match was played in great spirit, with both teams demonstrating excellent teamwork and commitment.

The final game of the night saw Net Tastics take on Chafing The Dream. This proved to be one of the closest contests of the evening, with neither side able to establish a significant lead. Both teams remained fully committed throughout, but Net Tastics held their nerve in the closing stages to secure an 8-6 victory.

This week's Most Valuable Player award goes to Nicola Pearce from Court Queens. Nicola delivered an outstanding performance, contributing across the court with excellent movement, awareness and effort. Her positive attitude and influence on the game were recognised by players across the league, making her a worthy recipient of the award.

With just two weeks remaining this season, teams will be looking to finish strongly and build momentum heading into the final rounds of fixtures. The league continues to provide a welcoming environment for players of all abilities, with every week showcasing competitive matches, developing skills and excellent sportsmanship.

As the season enters its closing stages, there is still plenty to play for across the league table. We look forward to welcoming all teams back to Aylesbury Vale Academy for Week 13 and another evening of enjoyable netball.
