Nailsea Monday Netball League – Week 1 Round-Up

It was a great start to the season in Nailsea, with teams returning to the court for the first week of Monday night netball. The evening was full of positive energy, teamwork and plenty of support from everyone involved.

Hoops There It Is and Jumping Divas played out an enjoyable opening match, with Hoops There It Is finding their rhythm to finish 11–6. Both teams showed great effort and kept the game flowing throughout.

Backwell Warriors had a strong start against Back To Basics, finishing 18–6. It was great to see some lovely passages of play and strong teamwork on display.

Under Pressure and No Way Back shared a really good, closely fought game, with Under Pressure just edging the result 12–8. It was a fun and evenly matched contest that kept everyone engaged.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Amy Peace from Back To Basics, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort, determination and impact on the court really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

It was brilliant to see so many players back enjoying their netball and creating such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With the season just getting underway, there’s plenty more fun and social netball to look forward to in the coming weeks.
