Nailsea Monday Netball Update - Week 6

A Great Night of Netball in Week 6 of the Nailsea Monday League

Week 6 of the Nailsea Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams coming together for some fun, fast-paced, and well-spirited matches. There was plenty of teamwork on show and lots of moments to celebrate across the courts.

Under Pressure had a positive outing against Back To Basics, coming away with a 13–7 win. They worked well together throughout the game, making the most of their opportunities and showing great communication across the court.

Jumping Divas also had a strong night, putting in a confident performance against No Way Back and finishing with a 12–1 scoreline. Their solid defending and flowing attacking play made for an enjoyable match to watch.

One of the standout games of the evening was between Hoops There It Is and Backwell Warriors. Both teams played with great energy and determination, with Backwell Warriors edging ahead to take a 13–8 win after a lively and well-contested match that kept everyone engaged.

A special mention goes to Lucy Webb of No Way Back, who was named player of the week. Lucy showed fantastic commitment and skill throughout the game, remaining positive and influential for her team and setting a great example on court.

As the Nailsea Monday Netball League moves into the next round of matches, it’s great to see teams enjoying their netball, supporting one another, and building confidence week by week. We’re looking forward to more fun evenings, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles as the season continues.
