Nailsea Monday Social Netball Update 20th October

In a pulsating fifth week of the Nailsea Monday Social Netball league, the Premier League division witnessed some gripping contests, demonstrating the competitive nature of this well-followed league.

Back To Basics, known for their strategic play, took on Under Pressure in a match full of thrilling moments. Despite the valiant effort put forth by Under Pressure, it was Back To Basics who emerged victorious with a score of 13-8. The match was a testament to the team's agility and coordination.

The match between No Way Back and Jumping Divas was the match of the evening with both teams giving their all. Either team could have taken to points but in the end a 7-7 scoreline was probably a fair result. The effort which both teams put in was a credit to all players involved and sets them up perfectly for the remainedr of the season.

Backwell Warriors once again continued on their merry way with another accomplished performance against Well Played, they triumphed with an impressive 19-3 victory. They are undoubtedly the most acomplished team in the league but as the weeks progress, the performances against them improve weekly and this week saw Well Played give an excellent display.

The highlight of the week, however, was the exceptional performance by Tifanny Pierre from Under Pressure. Despite her team's loss, Pierre's performance was a masterclass in Netball, earning her the title of 'Most Valued Player' of the week. Her prowess on the court was unmatched, making her a crucial element of the Under Pressure team.
