Play in the Berwick-upon-tweed Monday you play netball league

Berwick On Tweed Leisure Park once again hosted an enjoyable evening of social netball last Monday, marking the second week of our eagerly anticipated season. The atmosphere was jovial and welcoming, as players of all experience levels came together to appreciate a fabulous night of netball camaraderie.

In the Premier League group, the first match saw Jenny competing against the London Royals DD. The game concluded with Jenny securing two points to the Royals' one. It was a delightful display of teamwork and commitment from both sides, with each player contributing positively and with high energy. The spirit of the game was commendable and indicative of the friendly netball we all love.

The second match had us witnessing an incredibly close game between the Leeds Lightning CC and the Manchester Comets AA. Leeds finished the game with four points, while Manchester managed to edge slightly ahead with five. Sportsmanship reigned supreme throughout the match, both teams showcasing equal amounts of passion and a shared love for the game.

The final match of the night featured the Surrey Stingers EE and Shooters, ending in a score of 3-0 in favour of the Shooters. The Stingers displayed unwavering commitment and energy, while the Shooters’ teamwork was a sight to behold. It was indeed another enjoyable game played in great spirit.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the evening, whose enthusiasm and swift movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Their positive contribution was appreciated not only by their teammates but also their opponents. Their spirit indeed epitomised the true essence of friendly community netball.

As we look forward to Week 3, we're excited about another evening of friendly social netball. It's all about staying active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive and fun-filled environment. So here's to another week of Back to Netball, where every player is a star, every match a celebration of sportsmanship, and every evening a testament to our love for the game.
