WEEK 4 OF THE STOKE-ON-TRENT WEDNESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

Week four of the Stoke-on-Trent Wednesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams across the League continuing to build confidence, improve teamwork, and enjoy some competitive fixtures on court. The evening featured plenty of positive performances and showcased the friendly yet competitive spirit of the league.

One of the night’s fixtures saw No Regrets Just Nets secure a 12-6 win over Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Both teams showed good determination and effort throughout the game, with No Regrets Just Nets finding consistency across the court to help them take the result. Hit Me With Your Best Shot continued to battle well and created several positive moments during the match.

Elsewhere, All About That Pass recorded a 9-1 win against Netbusters. Their teamwork and movement around the court helped them maintain control of the game, while Netbusters continued to work hard and remained committed throughout the fixture. Both teams showed good sportsmanship and determination from start to finish.

There were also strong individual performances throughout the evening, with Monique Harvey-Oates from Shooting Stars being named Player of the Week. Her contribution on court stood out, with excellent teamwork, effort, and consistency helping make a positive impact for her side.

Across the League, teams continue to improve week by week, developing stronger partnerships on court and enjoying the opportunity to play regular competitive netball in a welcoming and supportive environment. Each round of fixtures has seen players gain confidence and continue building their skills.

As the season progresses, there is still plenty to look forward to, with teams aiming to build on their performances and continue enjoying their netball. The League continues to provide a great balance of friendly competition, teamwork, and enjoyable matches each week.
