Another exciting round of fixtures took place this week in the Stoke-on-Trent Wednesday netball League, with teams continuing to produce competitive performances and entertaining matches as the season progresses. Players once again demonstrated great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship across the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the court.

With the League table beginning to tighten and every point becoming increasingly valuable, teams approached their matches with energy and focus, leading to another memorable night of netball action. From disciplined defensive displays to sharp attacking movement, the quality shown throughout the evening highlighted the growing strength of competition within the Stoke-on-Trent Wednesday League.

One of the headline fixtures of the night saw Netbusters take on Shooting Stars in a closely contested match filled with intensity and determination. Both teams worked tirelessly throughout the game, producing strong defensive pressure and quick transitions across the court. Netbusters ultimately secured a well-earned 7-4 victory after maintaining composure during key moments and capitalising on important scoring opportunities. Their teamwork and communication played a major role in helping them edge ahead in a competitive encounter.

Despite the result, Shooting Stars produced several positive moments during the game and showed resilience from start to finish. A standout performer for the team was Kathy Ross, whose excellent individual display earned her recognition as this week’s Most Valued Player. Her effort, movement, and determination were evident throughout the match, and she consistently made an impact at both ends of the court. Kathy’s performance reflected the commitment and quality that continues to be showcased across the League each week.

Elsewhere, All About That Pass delivered another impressive performance as they secured an 11-4 victory over Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Displaying strong attacking combinations and disciplined defensive play, All About That Pass controlled much of the match and continued to build momentum as the game progressed. Their ability to move the ball effectively through the court and convert opportunities into goals proved to be the difference on the night.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot continued to battle throughout the fixture and showed plenty of determination despite facing a strong opponent. Their positive attitude and effort across the game demonstrated the competitive spirit that has become a key feature of the Stoke-on-Trent Wednesday League this season.

As the League moves further into the campaign, every fixture continues to play an important role in shaping the standings. Teams are beginning to build consistency and confidence, while others are working hard to close the gap and climb the table.
