As week 8 of the Stoke-on-Trent Wednesday netball league took place, teams enjoyed another round of competitive and well-balanced matches, with just two weeks remaining in the season.

All About That Pass faced Shooting Stars in a closely contested game, with Shooting Stars coming away with an 8–6 win. Both teams showed good teamwork and effort throughout, making it an enjoyable match to watch.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot delivered a strong performance against The Interceptors, securing an 8–4 victory. Their attacking play worked well, while The Interceptors continued to show determination across the court.

Another tight game saw No Regrets Just Nets earn a 5–3 win over Netbusters. It was a closely fought match, with both sides working hard from start to finish.

This week’s most valued player was Charlotte Leake from Netbusters. Despite the result, her performance stood out, showing great effort and consistency throughout the game.

With only two weeks left, teams will be looking to finish the season on a positive note and continue building on their performances. Every match remains important, and it’s great to see the continued commitment from all players involved.
