Week Four of the Bridgend Sunday Netball League brought shock, awe, and an impressive display of talent on the court, as the teams from Division 1 and Division 2 gave their all in a thrilling set of matches.
In Division 1, the Netball Ninjas showcased their prowess with a decisive 43-10 victory over the Netty Betties, underscoring their dominance in the league. The Pink Ladies fought valiantly, but faced a tough loss against All Sorts, ending with a score of 21-13. The evening concluded with Wangerz outscoring Hoops I Did It Again with a commanding 22-10 win, marking a pivotal moment in the league standings.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Nets Go triumphed over Clover Catchers with a score of 19-8, proving their mettle in a highly competitive match. High Hoops also showcased their skills, besting the Cougars 10-4 in a close game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
The spotlight, however, was stolen by Amy Cole from High Hoops, who was awarded the Most Valued Player of the week. Her outstanding performance on the court not only secured her team's victory but also left a lasting impression on the audience and her competitors.
As the Bridgend Sunday Netball League moves into its fifth week, the anticipation builds. With its top-scoring teams, Netball Ninjas in Division 1 and Nets Go in Division 2, maintaining their momentum, it remains to be seen whether the other teams will rise to the challenge.
