Bridgend Sunday Netball Update - Week 6

Another brilliant evening of netball at Brackla Sports Centre as teams across the Bridgend Sunday Netball League came together for Week 6 of the season. Alongside the league games, it was also great to see some friendly matches taking place, giving everyone extra court time, a chance to build confidence, and enjoy the social side of the league.

In Division 1, Netty Betties and Hoops I Did It Again enjoyed a fun and fast-paced game, with Hoops I Did It Again putting in a strong performance to finish 18-6 winners.

Over in Division 2, Pink Panthers and Clover Catchers shared the court in another lively match, with Pink Panthers coming away with a 25-3 result after some excellent passing and shooting throughout the game.

A special shoutout goes to Anna Williams-Hayes from High Hoops, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player after a brilliant all-round performance. Her positivity, movement, and teamwork really stood out on the court.

Wangerz, High Hoops and Cougars also had some friendly matches, showing great team spirit and all coming away with the 5-0 win.

It’s been great to see teams growing in confidence each week and, most importantly, enjoying their Sunday evening netball together. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next week for more fun, fitness, friendly competition, and more friendly matches.
