Another Fantastic Evening in the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League

Week 8 of the Bridgend Sunday You Play Netball League at Brackla Sports Centre brought another evening full of smiles, teamwork and plenty of great netball, with players enjoying a fantastic atmosphere across the courts.

Netball Ninjas and Netty Betties shared an entertaining game, with Netball Ninjas finding some lovely rhythm and finishing with a 32-8 scoreline. Netty Betties continued to work hard throughout the match, making it another enjoyable contest.

Wangerz and Hoops I Did It Again treated everyone to one of the closest games of the evening. Both teams played with great energy and sportsmanship, with Hoops I Did It Again finishing with a narrow 20-18 score in a game that kept everyone involved right until the final whistle.

Over on the other courts, Nets Go enjoyed a high-scoring game against Clover Catchers, finishing with a 27-3 scoreline, while Pink Panthers and Baywatch Ballers played out another lively encounter, with Pink Panthers finishing on 25 goals. High Hoops and Cougars also enjoyed a great game, with High Hoops finishing with a 16-6 score.

A special congratulations goes to Josie Starkie from Pink Panthers, who was named Player of the Week. Josie's enthusiasm, teamwork and all-round contribution on court made her a deserving recipient of the award.

One of the things that makes the Bridgend Sunday League so special is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with players of all abilities coming together each week to keep active, enjoy the game and catch up with friends.

With only two weeks remaining in the current season, there's still plenty of netball to look forward to, and we're excited to see everyone back on court next Sunday.
