Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League
Week 13 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League saw another evening of competitive and enjoyable netball, with teams taking to the court as part of the popular Back to Netball programme.
The League division featured four matches, with teams continuing to demonstrate great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the evening. As always, the focus was on enjoying the game, staying active, and providing players of all abilities with the opportunity to take part in regular netball.
River Splitters faced Nets Get Physical in the opening fixture of the night. Both teams worked hard throughout the match, creating chances at either end of the court. Nets Get Physical made the most of their opportunities to secure a 12-6 victory, but River Splitters remained competitive throughout and showed plenty of commitment from start to finish.
Shoot took on We Don't Give A Shot in another entertaining contest. We Don't Give A Shot produced a strong attacking performance, finishing the game with 14 goals, while Shoot added 8 goals of their own. Both teams played with plenty of energy and maintained a positive attitude throughout the match.
Time To Shine continued their strong form with an impressive display against Bridge The Gap. Their movement and accuracy in front of goal helped them record 17 goals on the night. Bridge The Gap may have scored 2 goals, but their effort and determination never dropped, and they continued to battle until the final whistle.
The final fixture saw No Regrets Just Nets take on Nets Go For A Beer. Nets Go For A Beer delivered one of the standout performances of the evening, scoring 22 goals in an excellent attacking display. No Regrets Just Nets added 5 goals and continued to work hard throughout the game despite facing a tough opponent.
A special congratulations goes to Nicola Essom of No Regrets Just Nets, who was named Player of the Session. Nicola was recognised for her positive contribution on court, excellent attitude, and support for those around her. Her performance and sportsmanship made her a deserving recipient of the award.
With plenty of goals scored, strong teamwork on display, and another excellent turnout, Week 13 was another successful evening for the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League. The Back to Netball programme continues to provide a welcoming environment for players to enjoy the sport, improve their fitness, and build confidence on court.
