An adrenaline-charged evening of Netball unfolded yesterday as Week 7 of the premier Groby Thursday League came to a climax. Teams clashed and scores soared in the Premier League making for a night of competitive sportsmanship and impressive teamwork.

In the Premier League, the Fireflies created a spectacle of skill and strategy, dominating the All Stars in a 13-3 victory. Despite the loss, All Stars' Jilna Sikotra stood out with her stellar performance, securing her spot as the most valued player of the week. Displaying an unprecedented level of agility and precision, Sikotra's efforts were a shining beacon for her team.

The Groby Girls also found their stride, outmaneuvering the Lionesses in a 10-4 victory. Their performance was marked by impressive teamwork and quick-thinking on the court, ensuring a well-deserved triumph.

In a nail-biting face-off, Kiss My Pass and Smack That Pass went head-to-head in a test of strategy and skill. Kiss My Pass clinched victory in a thrilling 9-5 win, demonstrating their sheer determination and unshakeable focus. Their victory last night has undoubtedly electrified the league and set a competitive tone for the final weeks ahead.
