The undefeated Groby Girls put on an impressive performance, securing a 11-2 victory against the All Stars. Their relentless pursuit of excellence sets a new benchmark for the remaining weeks.
In a closely contested battle, the Fireflies secured a 5-3 victory over Smack That Pass, demonstrating poise under pressure, a trait that would take them far in this league.
But the nail-biting showdown of the night was the clash between Kiss My Pass and Lionesses. Kiss My Pass eked out a hard-fought 4-3 victory, demonstrating their tactical prowess and tenacity until the final whistle.
Each team displayed commendable sportsmanship and an unwavering commitment to the game. The standout player of the week, who left spectators and opponents awestruck, was Gemma McGee from Kiss My Pass. Her spectacular performance on the court was instrumental in her team's victory, earning her the much-deserved title of the Most Valued Player of the week.
