Week seven of the Buckingham Sunday Netball League brought another lively and enjoyable evening of netball, with all teams showing great effort, teamwork, and encouragement throughout the League division.
Netball Ninjas and Netbusters shared a high-energy game, with both teams moving the ball well and creating plenty of scoring opportunities. The Ninjas found a strong rhythm as the match progressed, finishing with a 27–18 scoreline. Netbusters continued to work hard across all quarters, showing determination and positive communication. It was a great example of two teams supporting each other while playing at a good pace.
Bib It Like Beckham and Catch 22 delivered one of the closest matches of the evening, with just a single goal separating the sides at 9–8. Both teams demonstrated excellent defensive pressure and careful build-up play, making every possession count. Catch 22 stayed composed and worked tirelessly throughout, while Bib It Like Beckham showed great awareness and teamwork to keep things flowing. It was a really well-matched and enjoyable game to watch.
Throwbacks and Court Up rounded off the evening with a game full of effort and development. Throwbacks combined some lovely passing sequences with confident shooting to finish 12–2, but Court Up continued to show resilience, supporting one another and working hard to create opportunities of their own. The match highlighted how teams are growing in confidence and understanding as the season progresses.
Across all games, the most noticeable aspect was the supportive atmosphere on and off the court!
As the league heads into the next round of fixtures, it’s clear that every team is continuing to develop and enjoy their netball. With plenty of matches still to come, there’s lots to look forward to in what is shaping up to be a fun and rewarding season for everyone involved.
