Week 9 of the Buckingham Sunday Netball League brought another evening of enjoyable, high-energy netball, with plenty of great moments shared across all the teams.
Court Up and Bib It Like Beckham got things started with a close and spirited game, finishing 8–5 to Bib It Like Beckham. Both teams showed great teamwork throughout, and a special mention goes to Gemma McPartlane from Court Up, whose fantastic performance earned her Player of the Week. Her movement, awareness, and positive energy really stood out and added something special to the game.
Next up, Netball Ninjas and Catch 22 treated everyone to a closely fought match, with Ninjas just edging it 15–13. It was a great example of determination and teamwork from both sides, with the result staying in the balance right until the final moments.
The final game saw Netbusters take on Throwbacks, with Throwbacks coming away with a 15–9 win. It was a well-played match from both teams, with plenty of strong passages of play and great effort all round.
Overall, it was another brilliant week for the league, full of encouragement, teamwork, and a shared love of the game. It’s great to see everyone supporting each other and enjoying their netball—looking forward to more of the same in the weeks ahead!
