Week 13 of the Newport Wednesday netball league took place this week, with teams continuing to show good effort and teamwork across all fixtures.
The evening began with a closely contested match between FireBallz and Ball Snatchers, finishing in a 5–5 draw. Another evenly matched game followed, with Block It Like It's Hot and Caught Offside also sharing the points in a 7–7 result.
Goalden Girls secured a 16–10 win over Jump! Jump!, putting in a strong and consistent performance. Court Queens also had a productive game, earning a 23–9 victory against Irreplaceaballs.
Kathy Tagg of Ball Snatchers was named player of the week, recognised for her contribution and performance throughout the match.
As the season progresses, the league table is continuing to take shape, with teams working hard to build consistency and improve their standings.
Overall, it was another enjoyable evening of netball, and we look forward to seeing how the competition develops in the coming weeks.
