Newport – Week seven of the Newport Wednesday Netball League brought another evening of competitive and entertaining matches, with teams across the League delivering strong performances and great teamwork throughout the night.

Ball Snatchers and Block It Like Its Hot played out a closely contested 3 - 3 draw. Both sides showed impressive defensive organisation and determination, making it difficult for either team to find the decisive breakthrough.

Goalden Girls produced one of the standout performances of the evening with a confident 12 - 5 win over FireBallz. Sharp passing, composed finishing, and strong teamwork helped them secure an excellent result.

Caught Offside faced Court Queens in an energetic encounter, with Court Queens earning a 13 - 7 victory after a strong all-round display. Caught Offside continued to battle throughout the game and showed plenty of positive moments despite the result.

Jump! Jump! also enjoyed a successful evening, claiming an 11 - 5 win against Irreplaceaballs. Their quick movement and organised play helped them maintain control across the match.

This week's Most Valued Player award went to Stephanie Edgar of Caught Offside, whose performance and effort on court stood out across the evening's fixtures.

With week eight approaching, excitement continues to build as teams look to carry momentum forward in another round of Newport Wednesday League action. The season is shaping up to be an enjoyable and competitive one for players and supporters alike.
