Play in the Tottington Tuesday netball league

WEEK 10 OF THE TOTTINGTON TUESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

A quick update for all teams: matches will be returning to Bury Grammar School from this week. During the exam period, games will take place on the outdoor courts until July, before moving back indoors at Bury Grammar School through to September.

Week ten of the Tottington Tuesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams across the League continuing to build confidence and develop their play. There were plenty of positive performances and competitive games throughout the night.

In one of the fixtures, Block It Like It’s Hot! recorded a 13-7 win over On The Rebound. They showed good organisation and teamwork across the court, while On The Rebound remained committed and continued to create opportunities during the game.

Bury The Defence secured a narrow 2-1 win against Hoops! We Did It Again in a closely contested match. Both teams worked hard throughout, with strong defensive efforts making it a tight and competitive game.

St Michaels earned an 8-2 win over Goal Diggers. Despite the result, Goal Diggers continued to show effort and determination, and there were positives to take from their performance as they look ahead to the next fixtures.

No Shot Sherlock also picked up a 9-6 win against Net Set Go! in an engaging match. Both teams demonstrated good passages of play, with No Shot Sherlock finding consistency at key moments.

There was also a standout individual performance from Jenna Chatterley of Goal Diggers, who was named Player of the Week. Her contribution on court was clear to see, with strong decision-making and teamwork throughout the match.

Across the League, teams continue to improve week by week, building confidence and enjoying their netball in a friendly and supportive environment. While Division 1 results were unavailable this week, we look forward to sharing those updates in the next round-up.

As the season progresses, there is still plenty to play for, with teams aiming to keep developing and enjoying their time on court. The League continues to provide a great mix of friendly competition and teamwork, with more exciting fixtures to come.
