Bury Tuesday night netball - week 13

Week thirteen of the Bury Tuesday Netball League brought another evening of competitive and entertaining netball, with teams continuing to demonstrate great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. As the season progresses towards its latter stages, every match carries added importance, and players once again gave their all on the court in pursuit of valuable points.

The League division featured a number of exciting contests, with teams producing impressive performances and showcasing the high standard of netball that has been evident throughout the season.

Bury The Defence faced a strong On The Rebound side in one of the evening's fixtures. Both teams worked hard throughout the match, but On The Rebound were able to make the most of their opportunities to secure a 9-3 victory. Bury The Defence continued to battle throughout the game and showed plenty of commitment, creating moments of quality despite facing tough opposition.

Another entertaining encounter saw St Michaels take on Block It Like It's Hot! in a match packed with attacking play. St Michaels delivered an excellent performance to earn a 22-12 victory, displaying strong movement and teamwork across the court. Block It Like It's Hot! remained competitive throughout and continued to work tirelessly, contributing to an enjoyable and fast-paced game.

No Shot Sherlock produced a confident display against Hoops! We Did It Again, securing a 14-6 win. Both teams showed plenty of energy and determination, but No Shot Sherlock were able to build momentum during key periods of the match. Hoops! We Did It Again continued to battle until the final whistle and demonstrated the positive attitude and resilience that have been a feature of their season.

One of the closest matches of the evening saw Net Set Go! take on Goal Diggers. The game remained finely balanced throughout, with both teams defending strongly and working hard to create scoring opportunities. In the end, Goal Diggers edged a closely contested match by a score of 5-3, with the result reflecting the competitive nature of the fixture.

Alongside the team performances, individual contributions once again played a major role in the success of many sides. This week's Most Valued Player award was presented to Stephanie Hargreaves of Hoops! We Did It Again. Stephanie impressed with her commitment, skill and positive influence on the court, producing an excellent performance that stood out during the evening's matches. Her contribution was a fantastic example of the quality and enthusiasm present throughout the league.

Unfortunately, Division 1 fixtures were unable to take place this week. While disappointing for the teams involved, everyone will be looking forward to returning to action in the coming rounds and continuing what has been an enjoyable and competitive season.

One of the standout performances of the night came from St Michaels, who finished as the highest-scoring team of the week. Their attacking play and teamwork helped them produce an impressive result and further strengthen their position as one of the league's in-form teams.

With just a few weeks remaining in the season, every fixture becomes increasingly important as teams look to finish strongly and achieve their goals. The commitment shown by all players, whether competing at the top of the table or continuing to develop as a team, has helped create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the competition.

Week thirteen provided another excellent evening of netball, filled with competitive matches, great sportsmanship and memorable performances. Players and supporters can now look ahead to the next round of fixtures, where more exciting contests and standout moments are sure to be in store.
