Cannock Sunday You Play Netball League – Week 5 Round-Up

Another fantastic evening of netball took place this week in the Cannock Sunday You Play Netball League, with teams showing great determination, teamwork and enthusiasm as the season continued.

The Chase Chicks put in a strong performance against Ace of Chase, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork throughout the match. Their movement on court and ability to work together helped them enjoy a successful evening.

Cannock Forests continued to impress with a confident display against Dream Team. Their energy, organisation and commitment were evident from start to finish, making for an enjoyable contest between two hard-working teams.

Pocket Rockets produced one of the standout performances of the night against Cannock Comets. Their teamwork and consistency across the court helped them build momentum and showcase some excellent netball.

The closest contest of the evening saw Cannock Chasers take on Cannock Chaos in a highly competitive match. Both teams battled hard throughout, delivering an entertaining game that highlighted the determination and spirit that make the league so enjoyable to be part of.

A special congratulations goes to Hayley Driscoll of Pocket Rockets, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her outstanding contribution, positive attitude and excellent all-round performance made her a deserving winner of the award.

As the season continues, it's great to see teams developing each week and enjoying competitive matches in a friendly and supportive environment. Thank you to all the players for another brilliant evening of netball, and good luck to everyone ahead of next week's fixtures!
