Neath Sunday Netball Update - Week 1

All the latest news from your local social netball league, held at Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School.

The Neath Sunday Netball League got off to a fantastic start, with a great atmosphere and some really enjoyable matches to kick off the new season. It was brilliant to see so many players back on court, enjoying their netball and supporting each other throughout the games.

DN Rangers had a strong opening game against Valley Ballers, putting in a confident team performance. A special mention goes to Hannah Godwin, who had an excellent all-round game and was named Most Valued Player for her contribution and leadership on court.

Elsewhere, Game Of Throws enjoyed a great match against Shooting Stars, while Hoops I Did It Again and Goal Diggers both put in solid performances in their game. Hoop There It Is and Goal Getters also shared a really enjoyable match, with plenty of great teamwork and positive play from both sides.

Overall, it was a really encouraging start to the season, with all teams showing great effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the evening.

As the season continues, it will be great to see everyone building on these performances and enjoying more netball together each week.
