Neath Tuesday Netball League - Week 9

In the heart of the season, the Neath Tuesday Netball League completed its ninth week, witnessing some enthralling action and outstanding performances in both Division 1 and Division 2.

In Division 1, Glynneath Gal-Zelles edged past Hoops I Did It Again in a closely contested match, registering a 18-14 victory. Nets Get Physical showed their dominance, outscoring Socket Shifters with a convincing scoreline of 25-13, asserting their position in the league. Furthermore, The Queen Bees mirrored Nets Get Physical's score against the Pulse Chasers, also finishing at 25-13.

Meanwhile, Division 2 had its share of excitement as well. The Glynneath Gazelles overcame a gritty challenge from Spice Goals, ending with a hard-fought score of 14-11. High Hoops, however, stole the show, defeating Steel Town Shooters 16-6, demonstrating their prowess on the court. The Sweaty Betty's tried to keep pace, but couldn't quite hold off Block It Like It's Hot who achieved a 16-13 victory.

The star of the week was undoubtedly Charlotte Bailey from High Hoops, who was crowned the Most Valued Player. Her stellar performance on the court played a significant role in High Hoops' decisive victory and was much appreciated by all.

Whilst the top scorers in each division were Nets Get Physical and The Queen Bees in Division 1, and High Hoops in Division 2, these teams have set the bar high moving into Week 10. With the competition heating up and the stakes rising, next week's encounter promises to be an exhilarating one.
