Another fantastic evening of social netball took place this week in the Neath Tuesday league, with teams enjoying plenty of fun, teamwork and great performances across the courts.
Glynneath Gal-Zelles had a strong game against Hoops I Did It Again, working well together to come away with a 23-6 result. The Queen Bees also enjoyed a successful evening, putting in an excellent team performance against Pulse Chasers and finishing 26-5.
Socket Shifters and Nets Get Physical played out a closely contested and entertaining match, with both teams showing great effort and determination throughout the game. Nets Get Physical narrowly finished ahead 24-18.
Elsewhere, Spice Goals had a positive result against Glynneath Gazelles, winning 13-8 in a well-played match. High Hoops also put in a confident performance against Steel Town Shooters, while Block It Like It’s Hot and Sweaty Betty’s shared one of the closest games of the evening, with Block It Like It’s Hot edging the result 15-13.
A special mention goes to Tamara Langdon from The Queen Bees, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Tamara impressed everyone with her energy, teamwork and all-round contribution on court.
It’s been wonderful to see so many players enjoying the social side of the league, supporting one another and continuing to improve each week. The Neath Tuesday league remains a brilliant way to stay active, meet new people and enjoy netball in a welcoming and friendly environment.
