Walsall Monday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball – Season Opener Round-Up

The new season of the Walsall Monday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, got off to a fantastic start this week, with teams returning to the court full of energy, enthusiasm and excitement for the months ahead.

Shooting Stars began their campaign with a strong team performance against Bibs And Balls. Their movement, communication and teamwork were on display throughout the match, helping them make a positive start to the season. Bibs And Balls also showed plenty of determination and commitment, setting a solid foundation for the weeks ahead.

One of the most competitive games of the evening saw Netballerz take on Cheslyn Shooters. Both teams battled hard throughout a closely contested match, producing some excellent netball and keeping players and spectators engaged from start to finish.

A special congratulations goes to Ruby Stewart of Bibs And Balls, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Ruby delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating great skill, effort and positivity throughout the evening. Her contribution on court made her a worthy recipient of the award and certainly someone to watch as the season progresses.

With the first round of fixtures now complete, the stage is set for another exciting season of netball in Walsall. It was great to see so much teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm on display, and we look forward to seeing all teams continue to grow and develop over the coming weeks.
