A Great Finish to the Season in the Nottingham Monday Netball League

The Nottingham Monday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, wrapped up its final week of the season with another enjoyable night of netball. Week 14 marked the end of a fantastic season filled with teamwork, effort, and plenty of memorable moments on court.

Pink Ladies had a strong final game, taking a 26–6 win against Chilwell Divas, while The Fun Bunch also finished the season on a high with a 29–10 victory over Nova Stars.

One of the closest games of the night saw Net Club 7 Nottingham edge out Chilwell Flames in a tight 11–10 match that kept everyone guessing right to the final whistle. Chilwell Shooters also enjoyed a positive result, securing a 9–2 win over Hoopsie Daisies.

A special mention goes to Becky Azadehdel from Chilwell Flames, who was named Player of the Week. Her hard work and determination really stood out during a closely contested match.

The season finished with The Fun Bunch sitting top of the table after a consistent run of results, ending on 28 points with 14 wins. A brilliant achievement and a great reward for their efforts throughout the season.

As the season comes to a close, it’s been great to see so much enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and enjoyment from all teams involved. We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the next season.
