Nottingham Monday Netball League Powered by You Play Netball – Season Opener Round-Up

The new season of the Nottingham Monday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, got off to a fantastic start this week, with teams taking to the court full of enthusiasm, energy and excitement for the season ahead.

The Fun Bunch enjoyed an impressive opening-night performance against Chilwell Divas, demonstrating excellent teamwork, communication and movement across the court. Their strong start sets a positive tone as they look forward to the weeks ahead.

A special congratulations goes to Hope Smith of The Fun Bunch, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Hope's outstanding contribution, leadership and all-round performance made her a deserving recipient of the award and a key part of her team's success.

Pink Ladies also made a strong start to the season with a confident performance against Chilwell Flames. Both teams showed great determination and sportsmanship, creating an enjoyable and competitive match.

Chilwell Shooters and Nova Stars played out a closely contested encounter, with both teams battling hard throughout. The match showcased the commitment and teamwork that make the league such a great environment to play in.

Elsewhere, Hoopsie Daisies produced a strong team display against Net Club 7 Nottingham, demonstrating great organisation and teamwork across the court.

With the first round of fixtures now complete, the season is already shaping up to be an exciting one. It was fantastic to see so many players enjoying their netball, supporting their teammates and competing in great spirit.
