Nottingham Sunday Netball League - Week 9

The latest round of Nottingham Monday’s League Netball saw an evening of heart-stopping, high energy action as teams clashed in week 9 of the season. The evening concluded with some truly nail-biting finishes and a standout performance from one top player.

In the League division, the Hoopsie Daisies dominated the court against Chilwell Divas, ending with a convincing 8-3 victory. The Daisies managed to stay ahead throughout the game, proving their capabilities as a strong contender for the title.

Meanwhile, the Net Club 7 Nottingham and Chilwell Shooters game was a close call. The Shooters managed to steal a narrow victory with a 12-11 final score, making this game one of the most unexpected turns of the evening.

The Nova Stars and Chilwell Flames match ended in a deadlock with a 12-12 tie, leaving the division wide open. Both teams showcased excellent coordination and skill, making this match one of the highlights of the week.

However, the most staggering outcome of the week was the Pink Ladies versus The Fun Bunch match. The Fun Bunch took to the court, sweeping their opponents with a 29-2 victory.

The week's most valued player was Net Club 7 Nottingham's Robyn Howard. Her exceptional performance stood out amongst her peers, helping her team put up a tough fight against the Chilwell Shooters. Howard's performance throughout the season has been consistently impressive, making her a key player to watch in the coming weeks.
