A Brilliant Start to the Season in Nottingham Netball

The new season got off to a fantastic start this week, with plenty of energy, great teamwork, and a really positive atmosphere across all the matches.

From the first whistle, it was clear everyone was excited to be back on court. The Brave Hearts put in a confident and organised performance in their opening game, working well together and setting an early benchmark for the rest of the league.

Sunday Stormers also started strongly, showing great movement and communication throughout their match. Their teamwork really stood out and helped them take control of the game.

Nottingham Ninjas continued the theme of strong starts, delivering a solid all-round performance. With sharp attacking play and determined defending, they made a great impression in their first outing of the season.

A special mention goes to Danielle Doyle of Hoop Hustlers, who was named Player of the Match. Her effort, determination, and positive attitude really shone through and didn’t go unnoticed—an excellent individual performance.

It’s only week one, but the season is already shaping up to be full of fun, friendly competition, and plenty of memorable moments. We can’t wait to see how all the teams develop over the coming weeks!
