In the League, the Brave Hearts started their campaign with a resounding victory over The Misfits, outscoring them 23-8. Showcasing their grit and determination, the Brave Hearts displayed a fantastic team effort, setting a high benchmark for the rest of the season.

In another League encounter, the Sunday Stormers proved their mettle by trouncing In It To Win It 15-4. The Stormers’ tenacious defence and seamless coordination overshadowed their competitors, making them one to watch this season.

However, the highlight of the night was the showdown between Nottingham Ninjas and Net Set Go. The Ninjas managed to secure an 18-9 victory in a fiercely competed match. Leading the charge for the Ninjas was the outstanding Siobhan Stevenitt, who was named the most valued player of the week. Stevenitt showcased her exceptional skills, playing an integral role in the team's success.

As the season has just commenced, each team showcased their enthusiasm and determination. The top scorers for the League were the Brave Hearts, Sunday Stormers and Nottingham Ninjas, setting the tone for a riveting season ahead.

This opening week has certainly set the stage for some high-stakes Netball, and we eagerly await the twists and turns that the rest of the season has in store.
