Season Finale Fun at the Brecon Monday You Play Netball League

Week 14 brought another lovely evening of netball to Brecon College, as players came together for the final round of fixtures and celebrated the end of a fantastic season.

A Little Rusty and Beacons enjoyed a great game to start the evening, with A Little Rusty finishing with a 9-5 scoreline. Both teams played with plenty of energy and support for one another, making it another enjoyable match.

KOALAS rounded off their season with a strong team performance against Bluebirds, finishing with a 21-5 score. A special congratulations goes to Ellie Willetts, who was named Player of the Week. Her enthusiasm, teamwork and positive attitude made her a deserving recipient of the award.

Aberhonddu Ladies A and Net It Together shared another entertaining game, with Aberhonddu Ladies A finishing on 22 goals, while Aberhonddu Ladies B and Panthers also enjoyed a closely contested match, with Aberhonddu Ladies B finishing with a 14-9 score.

As the season draws to a close, a huge congratulations goes to KOALAS, who finish as league winners after a wonderful season. Their teamwork and consistency have been fantastic throughout, and they should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

A special well done also goes to Bluebirds, who finish the season as deserving runners-up after a brilliant campaign and many enjoyable evenings on court.

Congratulations also to Chloe from KOALAS, who has been named Player of the Season. Her commitment, positivity and contribution throughout the season have made her a thoroughly deserving winner.

Thank you to all of the teams and players who have made this season so enjoyable. The Brecon Monday league continues to be a friendly and welcoming place where players of all abilities can keep active, make new friends and enjoy their netball.
