Week 3 of the Brecon Monday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and great moments on court.
Aberhonddu Ladies A took on A Little Rusty in a well-contested match. Both teams showed great effort throughout, with A Little Rusty coming away with an 18–9 win after some confident passing and strong teamwork.
Aberhonddu Ladies B faced KOALAS in another lively game. KOALAS worked well together across the court and secured a 16–5 result, but credit to Aberhonddu Ladies B for their determination and positive attitude from start to finish.
Beacons and Bluebirds also shared the court in an energetic fixture. Bluebirds had a strong game, finishing 27–11, in a match that highlighted the commitment and enthusiasm of both sides.
A special shoutout goes to Lucy Bowles from A Little Rusty, who was named Player of the Week. Lucy’s skill, leadership and encouragement of her teammates really stood out and made a big impact during her game.
It’s been fantastic to see the league continue to grow, with teams enjoying their netball and supporting one another each week. We’re looking forward to more fun, friendly matches as the season progresses.
