Week 8 of the Congleton Thursday netball league saw another evening of enjoyable and competitive matches, with teams showing great effort and teamwork throughout. In the League, players took to the court in a series of well-contested games.

West Heath Wonders faced Thursday Thunder in a closely fought match, with the Wonders securing an 11-7 win. Both teams played with good energy and determination, contributing to an entertaining game.

In another closely matched fixture, Nets Top Models took on Net Set Go. It was a competitive contest, with Net Set Go edging the result 13-11 after a hard-fought game.

One of the standout contributions this week came from Georgina Burt of Bib Sisters, whose strong performance earned her the well-deserved player of the week recognition.

With only two weeks remaining in the season, the League continues to offer competitive and enjoyable matches each week. Teams are encouraged to keep up their efforts as the season heads towards its conclusion.

Top scoring details are still to be confirmed, but it’s been great to see all teams contributing and working hard on the court. There is plenty to look forward to as the season reaches its final stages.
