Congratulations to Nets Top Models, who were crowned this season’s winners in Congleton, and well done to runners-up West Heath Wonders on a fantastic campaign. A special mention also goes to Georgina Burt from Bib Sisters, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Season in Congleton — a brilliant achievement.

Play in the Congleton Thursday Netball League

The Congleton Thursday Netball League wrapped up its season with an enjoyable final week of matches, as teams took to the court for week 10 and brought the season to a positive close.

There were several competitive and high-energy games on the night. Nets Top Models faced strong opposition from West Heath Wonders and secured a closely fought 9–7 win, highlighting their teamwork and composure under pressure. In another match, Net Set Go recorded a 14–2 victory over The Goal Diggers. Despite the result, Neve Ransom stood out with her efforts and was named the week’s most valued player for her performance on court.

Thursday Thunder also enjoyed a successful evening, claiming a 16–10 win against Bib Sisters in a well-contested match that showcased confident shooting and solid defending from both teams.

The season concluded with Nets Top Models finishing top of the league, collecting 15 points and seven wins along the way. Their consistent performances throughout the season reflected a strong balance of skill, teamwork, and determination.

Overall, the final week of the Congleton Thursday Netball League celebrated the talent, commitment, and sportsmanship shown by all teams. With memorable performances and plenty to build on, the league now looks ahead to another exciting season in Congleton.
