Thrilling Action Continues in Week 4 of the Congleton Thursday Netball League
CONGLETON, UK – The Congleton Thursday Netball League delivered another enjoyable evening of competitive action last night, with teams in the League division producing some entertaining matches during week 4 of the season.
Thursday Thunder secured a strong 14-10 victory against West Heath Wonders, continuing their impressive start to the season. Their energetic performance and accurate shooting helped them edge ahead in an exciting contest and move to the top of the League standings.
In another closely watched match, Bib Sisters demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication as they earned an 18-9 win over Goal Diggers. Despite the result, Goal Diggers player Cat Ransom was recognised as the Most Valuable Player of the week thanks to her determined display, positive attitude, and influential presence on court throughout the game.
Meanwhile, Beartown Ballers faced Nets Top Models in a competitive encounter. Both teams showed plenty of effort and commitment, but Nets Top Models were able to take control of the game and secure a 10-4 victory.
The League division of the Congleton Thursday Netball League continues to provide a fun and welcoming environment for players of all abilities, while still offering plenty of competitive and exciting moments each week. Thursday Thunder also finished as the division’s top scorers this week with another confident attacking performance.
As a Back to Netball league, the emphasis remains on enjoyment, fitness, teamwork, and encouraging participation in a supportive atmosphere. We kindly remind all players and teams to continue playing in the right spirit, respect their opponents, and support the umpires by accepting decisions respectfully throughout each match.
With several weeks still remaining in the season, there is plenty more action to look forward to, and teams will be eager to build momentum in the coming fixtures.
