Uttoxeter Sunday Netball Update - Week 2

Week 2 of the Uttoxeter Sunday Netball League has already brought a great mix of energy, teamwork, and enjoyable matches, with all teams settling into the new season and showing plenty of positive play.

Raiders had a strong game against Hoops I Did It Again, coming away with an 18–8 win. Their passing and movement worked really well together, helping them build momentum throughout the match.

One of the standout games of the evening was between Court Queens and Net Club Seven. It was a close and entertaining match, with Net Club Seven just edging it 16–13. Both teams showed great effort and teamwork from start to finish.

High Hoops and Give Us A Shot also had a well-matched game, with High Hoops taking a 9–6 win. It was a great example of steady play and good communication on court.

Hoopy Hour delivered a confident performance against Nets In The City, winning 16–5, with some lovely passages of play and strong teamwork throughout.

A special mention goes to this week’s Player of the Week, Maggie Morrall from Hoopy Hour, who put in a fantastic performance and made a real impact for her team.

As we head into week 3, it’s great to see everyone enjoying their netball, supporting one another, and growing in confidence each week. We’re looking forward to more fun and friendly games ahead.
