Uttoxeter Sunday Netball Update - Week 5

Week 5 of the Uttoxeter Sunday 7-a-side Netball League brought another fun-filled evening of social netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and great moments across the court.

The Raiders and Nets In The City kicked off the evening with a lively game, with The Raiders coming away with a 15-4 win. Both teams showed great effort throughout, with lots of positive play and teamwork on display.

Court Queens also had a strong game against Give Us A Shot, finishing with a 21-7 result. The match was played in great spirit, with both teams keeping the energy high from start to finish and showing fantastic communication on court.

A special mention goes to Lorna Beech from Give Us A Shot, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her determination, movement, and positive attitude throughout the game really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With five weeks now completed, the league continues to bring together players for enjoyable, social, and fast-paced netball every Sunday evening. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next week for more fun and friendly matches.
