Another Enjoyable Evening in the Uttoxeter Sunday You Play Netball League

Week 9 of the Uttoxeter Sunday You Play Netball League brought another evening of fun, laughter and fantastic netball, with plenty of great teamwork and smiling faces across the courts.

Court Queens and The Raiders got the evening off to a great start with an entertaining match. Court Queens found some lovely rhythm in attack to finish with a 20-8 scoreline, while The Raiders continued to work hard and support each other right to the final whistle.

Nets In The City and Hoops I Did It Again shared another enjoyable game, with both teams producing some great moments and plenty of positive play. Hoops I Did It Again finished the match with a 15-6 score, but there was lots to celebrate from both sides.

Hoopy Hour and Net Club Seven treated everyone to a fun contest, with some excellent teamwork on display. Hoopy Hour came away with a 16-11 score, but both teams played with great energy and enthusiasm throughout.

One of the closest games of the evening saw High Hoops and Pass Me The Wine battle out a brilliant 12-12 draw. Neither side could be separated after a fantastic game, with both teams enjoying a well-earned share of the points.

A huge well done also goes to Rebecca Hartley from Give Us A Shot, who was named Player of the Week. Rebecca's enthusiasm, encouragement and all-round performance made her a worthy recipient of the award.

With Week 10 just around the corner, there's plenty more netball to look forward to. The Uttoxeter Sunday League continues to bring together players of all abilities in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the game, keep active and make new friends.
