Banbury Wednesday Evening Netball

What a fantastic finish to the season at the Banbury Wednesday Netball League! The final week brought plenty of excitement, close games, and brilliant performances as teams gave it their all on court.

A huge congratulations goes to Dynamite Shooters, who finished the season as league champions with an impressive 24 points and 12 wins. Their hard work and teamwork throughout the season truly paid off.

There were some great matches played on the night. Odd Balls put in a strong performance to beat Banbury AllStars 23-11, while Goals Aloud narrowly secured victory over Pocket Rockets in a close 14-12 game. Goal Shooters also had a solid win against Shoot For It, finishing 16-0. In one of the closest games of the evening, Shoot Happens edged past Dynamite Shooters with a tight 13-11 result.

A special mention goes to Kelly Rogers from Goals Aloud, who was named the league’s Most Valued Player. Kelly has been outstanding all season, showing great skill, determination, and consistency week after week.

The season has been full of fun, friendly competition, and great sportsmanship from every team involved. Thank you to all players, supporters, and organisers for making it such a successful league.

Congratulations again to Dynamite Shooters and to Kelly Rogers on a brilliant achievement. We can’t wait to see everyone back for another exciting season of netball in Banbury!
