Banbury Wednesday Night - 1

Banbury Wednesday You Play Netball League returned this week with another fantastic evening of action, as teams took to the court for a fun and competitive night of netball.

“Banbury AllStars” showed great teamwork and confidence throughout their match, moving the ball well and working tirelessly in both attack and defence. “Goals Aloud” kept battling throughout the game and showed brilliant determination and team spirit.

One of the standout contests of the evening came between “Goal Shooters” and “Odd Balls”, with both teams bringing energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of entertaining play to the court. Spectators were treated to some excellent netball and great passages of play from both sides.

“Dynamite Shooters” also impressed with a lively and fast-paced performance against “Pocket Rockets”, showing excellent movement and communication across the court. Meanwhile, “Shoot Happens” and “Shoot For It” rounded off the evening with another exciting matchup full of effort and positivity from both teams.

A special congratulations goes to Sophie Kendall from “Shoot For It”, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Sophie’s determination, skill, and positive attitude stood out throughout the evening and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With the season now well underway, teams are continuing to build confidence, develop partnerships, and enjoy the friendly competition that makes the Banbury Wednesday You Play Netball league such a great atmosphere each week.
