Play in the Banbury Wednesday You Play Netball League
The new season got underway in style on Wednesday night as teams returned to court for an exciting evening of netball in Banbury. Players brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and determination to the opening round of fixtures, setting the tone for what looks to be a fantastic season ahead.
Shoot Happens and Banbury AllStars kicked off the night with a competitive match full of great passages of play, while Dynamite Shooters made a strong start to their campaign with an impressive team performance against Shoot For It.
Pocket Rockets and Goal Shooters treated spectators to a closely fought contest, with both sides showing brilliant effort and resilience throughout. The final game of the evening between Odd Balls and Goals Aloud was another exciting encounter, with neither team willing to give an inch in a thrilling battle on court.
A special mention goes to Louisa Ivings from Banbury AllStars, who was named Most Valued Player of the week after a fantastic individual performance that stood out across the evening’s matches.
