Banbury Netball Sunday League - Week 9

The ninth week of the Banbury Sunday Netball League turned out to be a thrilling encounter, with teams neck and neck in their quest for glory.

In a pulsating evening of high-quality netball, the Shooting Stars emerged triumphant over the Banbury All Stars with a resounding 16-7 victory, demonstrating their relentless attacking power. However, the real headline came from the Banbury Ballers, who blitzed Net Set Go with a stellar score of 22-6. A true testament to their offensive prowess, the Ballers showed why they are a force to be reckoned with.

Elsewhere in the League, the Net Ninjas and Net Chicks displayed impressive performances, overcoming the Banbury Shooters and BNT respectively. Fireballs, however, took the cake, dominating the court against Hoopz with a 14-8 scoreline.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly Fireballs' star player, Alison Roberts. Her magnificent display on the court earned her the prestigious title of the Most Valued Player of the week. Roberts' nimble footwork, sharp shooting skills, and superior game sense were instrumental in Fireballs' victory.

Looking ahead to week 10, all teams will be looking to finish the season on a high note. For now, the Banbury Ballers, Shooting Stars and Fireballs have set the bar high with their commanding performances.
