Last night marked the exciting commencement of the much-anticipated Banbury Sunday Netball Season. The first round of the League division started off with a bang, with teams showcasing their skills and competitive spirit.

Shooting Stars set the bar high for the season, blasting their way past Banbury All Stars with a commanding 24-7 victory. It was a stellar performance that put the Shooting Stars on top of the leaderboard on the first day.

On the other hand, Banbury Ballers exhibited their dominance against Net Set Go, concluding the match with a solid 20-5 win. The Ballers took control of the game early on and never looked back, displaying an impressive level of team cohesion and individual skill.

In a neck to neck battle, Net Ninjas managed to edge out Banbury Shooters by a narrow margin of 19-14, while Net Chicks secured a victory against BNT, with a final score of 14-10. Fireballs lit up the court against Hoopz, netting a score of 17-2.

A special mention goes to Anna Brain of Net Chicks, who emerged as the League's most valued player this week. Her tactical brilliance and exceptional performances on the court have drawn attention from netball enthusiasts everywhere.
