Banbury Sunday Evening Netball - Week 10

It was another fantastic evening of netball in Banbury as week 10 brought plenty of excitement, close games, and great team performances. The league continues to deliver fun, competitive matches that keep everyone coming back for more.

Fireballs were in top form, putting in a brilliant performance to secure a 16–2 win over Banbury All Stars. Their energy and teamwork really shone through from start to finish.

Hoopz and BNT treated everyone to a competitive match, with Hoopz just edging it 17–12. It was a great display of determination and teamwork from both sides.

The most thrilling game of the night had to be Net Chicks vs Banbury Shooters. It was a real back-and-forth battle, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. In the end, Banbury Shooters managed to take a narrow 19–17 win in a fantastic contest.

Shooting Stars also impressed with a dominant 21–4 victory over Net Set Go, showing great confidence and consistency throughout the match.

A special mention goes to Penny Phelps from Net Set Go, who was named Player of the Week. Despite the result, she stood out with a brilliant individual performance and great sportsmanship.

With Fireballs, Hoopz, Banbury Shooters, and Shooting Stars all picking up wins, it’s shaping up to be a really exciting season. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
