Week 8 brought another brilliant evening of netball in Banbury, with plenty of exciting games, great teamwork, and a fantastic atmosphere across the courts.
Hoopz got the evening off to a strong start against Banbury All Stars, with both teams showing great effort and determination throughout. Fireballs also impressed in their game against Net Chicks, playing with energy and confidence.
BNT put in a solid performance against Net Ninjas, working well together and showing great movement on court. Banbury Shooters and Net Set Go shared an entertaining match, with lots of positive play from both sides.
Shooting Stars were another standout team on the night, delivering a confident and well-organised performance against Banbury Ballers.
A special shoutout goes to Jodie Gregory from Fireballs, who was named Player of the Week. Her performance really stood out and made a big impact for her team.
With the season progressing, it’s great to see all teams continuing to improve and enjoy their netball. The league is full of positive energy and friendly competition, and there’s still plenty more action to come—good luck to everyone next week!
