The much-anticipated Banbury Sunday Netball league kicked off last night with a series of high-energy games in the League division. The first week of the season saw some spectacular performances, setting the tone for what promises to be a fiercely contested season.

In the division's opening match, Shooting Stars showcased their talent with a dominant 26-15 victory over the Banbury All Stars. Despite the All Stars' commendable effort, the Shooting Stars' accurate shooting and robust defense added significant weight to the scoreboard.

The biggest margin of victory in the Premier League was seen in the clash between Net Set Go and Banbury Ballers. Displaying enviable coordination and strategic prowess, the Banbury Ballers triumphed with a whopping 30-6 victory.

Next up, was the exciting face-off between Net Ninjas and Banbury Shooters. In a nail-biting game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, the Net Ninjas scraped through with a 22-17 win, proving their mettle in high-pressure situations.

The final game of the night saw the closest contest with Net Chicks and Fireballs battling it out. In a game that could have gone either way, the Fireballs clinched the win with a modest 17-15 triumph over Net Chicks.
